From Kaluakoi on the west end of Molokai island, 32 miles across the Ka’iwi Channel to a finish line at Maunalua Bay Beach Park in Hawaii Kai.

MALIBU SURF AND SPORTS FESTIVAL 

JUNE 20th - 21st Held in conjunction with the Malibu Kiwanis, the Malibu Surf and SportsFestival is a great two event day filled with action, food, andcreative expressions. Over 2.000 participants from around the countrywill converge to take part in celebrating the majestic beauty of theMalibu. Our main staging area which will feature A Summer SolticeChumash blessing honoring the many world class athletes. Activitiesinclude a myriad of surf events including craft racing, lifeguardcompetitions, beach volleyball, a bike race, surf contest , art showand a Film Presentation on the World Famous Malibu Pier.

Saturday and Sunday May 16-17. Olukai Ho'olaule'a stand up paddle and OC1 race. Stand uppaddle divisions are scheduled to run on th Sunday, May 17th with a12:00pm start time. The 8 mile course includes a straight run with a180 degree buoy turn and a 300 yard beach run finish in front of Lae'Ula O Kai Canoe Club.
